The cross was built near a church dating back to 1898. At 73.8 meters (242 ft) tall and 37 meters (121 ft) wide the Cross of All Nations is the largest illuminated cross in the world, it was inaugurated on September 13, 2010 on the eve of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross. It was build by the French Association, Association Terre de Dieu in a land offered by the Lebanese Maronite Order. In Lebanon the feast is celebrated each year in Christian towns and cities with crowded processions during which people carry torches and visit mountain tops where they plant crosses, hold prayer services and start bonfires.

This superb natural bridge is one of the greatest in the world and it overhangs a basin full of enormous blocks of stone that have crashed down from the sides.

The Faqra Roman temple lies on a small hill 1600m above sea level in Kfardebian and is the most extensive Roman Ruins in all of Lebanon. Found on this site is a huge 15 meters square tower with interior staircase leading to the top. In the North-East corner of the tower and above the door, there is a Greek inscription which specifies that the building was restored by the Roman Emperor Claudius in 43 AD. The main temple consists of restored columns and remains of an alter, and was dedicated to a "very great god" there is also a smaller temple dedicated to "the Syrian goddess". This Roman Ruins in Faqra is a rewarding place to explore.
